Living a Pipe Dream
I am now hooked on Yahoo Pipes! Last week when the big buzz came out about pipes, there site failed to respond consistently for the entire day. I thought it was crap, and immediately pushed the url on to the white board (yes, the physical white board, with intoxicating red dry erase ink). I knew I’d go back to the site once the hub-bub passed.
Today I returned. Today I am hooked on the pipes crack (apologies to those who think drug references are in bad form — I don’t care). With a skim of the documentation (sub 10 seconds like a true geek), a load of the my pipes page, 2 minutes later I had a pipe set up for the 3 SEO conference related feeds I read that have virtually no individual daily updates. Piped together, the 3 feeds (and the others I will add to it) should provide a more robust lowdown on the SEO conference business.
